Get NZ Writing
Today we finished our poster and postcards for Get NZ Writing. We enjoyed writing the Sestina poems but found the Plan Your Path activity a bit challenging because this was the first time we have used Google Maps. We put the glasses on so we could decode the message on the poster. We are looking forward to receiving our parcel from our buddy class in Taranaki.
Hi My Name I Britany
ReplyDeleteI like how you told us what the activity was for. Maybe next time you could tell us a little bit more of all the activitys you did. I reminds me of my class doing this. I was still a good blog post though.
Blog you later.
Hi, my name is Rael and I go to Waikowhai Primary School.
ReplyDeleteI like how you shared your feelings when you guys were writing these poems. I like that picture of the class wearing the glasses and reading the poem. Could you share more about what the activities were about and what you did? My syndicate did it as well. I think the poem I enjoyed doing the most was 'The Book of the Road'. It was really cool when we put the glasses on to read it.
Overall, this was a great blogpost. It was nice and short but had all the information need. You know what they say...'Lest is best'.
Blog you later:-)

ReplyDeleteHi my name is Indie and I am from Waikowhai school.
ReplyDeleteI liked the blog. Our school did one before lowdown as well.
I liked how you said that it was hard. Maybe next time you should explain a bit more about what it is.
I loved reading it.
Keep blogging

ReplyDeleteHi Room 11. My name is Chloe, from Marshland School. I really like how you put pictures of you guys doing it. Have you got your package from the other school yet.
ReplyDeleteI have done this with my class. Our package came from a Hamilton country school i'm pretty sure! (I still have the glasses)
Hi Ahipara School, It's really cool that you wanted to get NZ writing. We also completed this School Kit and enjoyed writing the 'This is Just to Say' poem as we were able to confess some of our secrets. We also loved wearing the glasses. Next time we would love to see your work close up so that we could read it. Thanks, Korimako Smith - Marshland School
