Today we finished our poster and postcards for Get NZ Writing. We enjoyed writing the Sestina poems but found the Plan Your Path activity a bit challenging because this was the first time we have used Google Maps. We put the glasses on so we could decode the message on the poster.  We are looking forward to receiving our parcel from our buddy class in Taranaki.

Sea Week

Sea Week

This week Room 11 have been assigned to make some recycled sea creatures. It was a lot of hard work but it was worth it, the sea creatures are really cool and creative. There is a Japanese spider crab, a blue penguin, a jellyfish, a moray eel, a turtle and a crab. There are also two sharks and a polluted ocean. They look really awesome and neat. Here is a picture of some of the kids and their sea creatures.
